Sandra Reiniger serves as the Resident Services Supervisor for the Medford Housing Authority. Sandra is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing programs for MHA residents, consistent with HUD regulations and established best practices. The role also involves support, supervision, and monitoring of the resident services staff as well as ongoing assessment and evaluation of several grant programs. Sandra holds a bachelor’s degree from the California University of Pennsylvania in Education and has long been dedicated to exploring and developing strategies and programs to positively impact the lives of young children and their families.Early experience with exceptional programs for children quickly led Sandra to work with parents as well as children, initially with the Amesbury Even Start program, funded through the US Department of Education. She began as a Family Support Specialist and progressed to become the Even Start Director. Sandra transitioned to a consulting role for 25 years and worked with 5 MA Housing Authorities to develop and implement the Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) program introduced by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
