My name is Nsevilo Shabani. I prefer to be called Helen. I live in Portland,  Maine. I’m originally from Angola.  I speak three languages such as Portuguese, French and Lingala. Including English which I try to learn everyday, that makes  four languages. I have three children.  As for my education, I had a high school diploma in general pedagogy and a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy in my home country. 

By nature I’m a person who likes sharing my experiences with people that I know and those I meet. Physical Therapy was my profession in my home country. Working in this field I had a lot of experiences with the patients who had neurological, traumatic, and respiratory issues. I have been here in Maine since 2017. Currently I’m a CNA and attend to be a student at SMCC. My goals are to improve my English, to succeed in my studies, and to get my certificate degree or diploma in order to get a good job.

In conclusion, I hope to be a resident of Maine and enjoy working as a PTA in the USA in the future.
