Kimberly Heath has 23 years of experience working for nonprofit organizations. She joined United Way of South Hampton Roads in May of 2022 as the  Senior Director of Economic Mobility. In this role she oversees Virginia Beach Thrive, Norfolk Thrive, and Aspire/Strive programs. Supporting the ALICE population and assisting thousands of families in achieving economic self-sufficiency. Kim holds a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University and is a licensed benefits practitioner with Cornell University. Throughout her career, Kim has served in a variety of leadership positions. She has a deep-rooted passion for developing others and supporting them in achieving their goals.  Kim is passionate about her work and has had to rely on the community for resources to support her family in the past.  Kim previously served as a board member for 5 years on the Human Rights Committee for Hanover County while working in Richmond, VA as a Mental Health Professional.
