Louise Marsden is the Senior Vice President of Programs with The Opportunity Alliance. During her 38 year tenure, she has served in many roles, entering as a Head Start Teacher, and currently leading the 2Gen/Whole Family/Early Childhood/Youth serving department, which utilizes Mobility Mentoring in several key pilots/programs. Having benefited from a quality early childhood experience as a Head Start child, Louise went on to earn her B.S at the University of Maine and her MS in Early Childhood Education & Leadership/Public Policy from Wheelock College. Louise has dedicated her profession life to threading systems and resources together to ensure families, neighbors and communities are able to support their children in becoming their best selves. Louise lives in Portland and enjoys the company of her four beautiful adult girls and their children.
